About Us.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it's the only thing that ever has." — Margaret Mead

A Servant’s Heart is a faith-based organization working to bring people together not to just talk about our biggest problems — but to solve them.

People working together to help make a lasting impact on the quality of life and wellbeing for everyone in their neighborhood or community.

Vision.

We are A Servant’s Heart Community and our vision is to harness the power of community to create hope and effect change.

We will acknowledge and leverage our collective gifts to create empowering opportunities for our neighbors and an equitable Washtenaw County.

What we believe.

Communities can be transformed where nothing is missing and nothing is broken. A place where all of us get what we need and everyone thrives.

What we do.

We invest in building the capacity and capability of churches, residents and local organizations through small-scale projects.

We support efforts to identify the resources that are needed to strengthen the health and well-being of a community or neighborhood.

Celebrating Our Partners.

“IT DOESN’T MATTER WHERE YOU’RE GOING. Sometimes, IT’S more about WHO’S GOING WITH YOU”. — Everybody’s grandpa

A Servant’s Heart’s works to create an environment where partnerships flourish. Our partners have a commitment to equity and excellence; sound the alarm on injustice and take action to make the world a better place for everyone.

Partnerships strengthen relationships and bring diverse resources to the table that go way beyond what an organization alone might be able to do. Partnerships help to create that beloved community where our shared humanity serves as our common unity.
